Personal memory by Christi Davis
1985 CE • Indian Rocks Beach, FL, USA
I grew up on Indian Rocks Beach. When I was little, my dad would take me sailing every weekend and afterwards, we would play on the beach. I could dig down just an inch or two, and I could catch tons of mole crabs. My dad called them sand fleas. I bring my children back to those same beaches every year, and there are no sand fleas to be found.
