It is obvious there are only 40 tigers left in the park and though we saw one on the first morning, many visitors to the park never catch a glimpse. The area we drove through to get to Ranthambore (from Dehli to Agra to the park) transitioned from dense city to agriculture. Never did we see an area that was left uncultivated. It felt as if there is little room left in India for wilderness except in these protected reserves. I am very curious to understand how much true wild is left…
