My dad has always lived in the same city since he was born and, a few years ago, we were driving on one of the main roads that go over a hill and my dad said "When I was a kid I used to come to this hill with my friends to play. There weren't any buildings, just nature". Later, I found out that the hill was on the outskirts of the city. Nowadays, it's part of downtown. That made me realize how fast we destroy nature and how we don't know how important it is to us. I wish they had left at least a few green areas around the city. It is refreshing to walk on the grass after being walking on pavement all day.
