I used to feel certain it would snow every year. When, in 2015, Boston received record breaking snow, it felt like particularly exciting, but nothing too far out of the ordinary. I remember jumping off the railing of my house into the snow banks, and the pile of discarded snow that did not melt until well into the spring. Now, snowfall of any kind is somewhat unusual, and it never sticks around long enough to accumulate like it used to when I was younger.
