Today, six of the seven species of marine turtles are listed as Endangered or Critically Endangered, and the outlook is increasingly grim. - WWF

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Campaign for wider use of turtle-protective fishing gear and advocate for banning harmful practices like longlines, trawls, gill nets, and dredges.

• Only buy sustainably caught, MSC-certified seafood that ensures sea turtles are not harmed as bycatch.

• Never eat turtle meat or buy turtle shell products.
