Personal memory by Bob Tibbs

I grew up with the sound of hearing screech owls in the evening. When I was really little the sound scared me, but as I got older I got used to them and enjoyed hearing them. Around 1975-1976 it just seemed to stop. Now I live in a rural area, and I still don't hear them. I miss the sounds of the screech owls at night. I guess the small tracts of woods were (developed) around that time.
