Jaguar

1960s - 2022 CE

"Historically found across the Americas as far north as California the jaguar survives only in Arizona and small parts of Central and South America. Contiguous habitat is desperately needed to insure the survival of the jaguar."

WHAT YOU CAN DO

  • Support jaguar corridor creation and protected areas across their range from Mexico to Argentina.

  • Reduce beef consumption, especially from cattle raised on deforested Latin American ranches.

  • Choose certified sustainable beef that doesn't contribute to rainforest or habitat destruction.

  • Back organizations working on human-jaguar coexistence and livestock protection programs
