Personal memory by Greta N

Bugs, there once were hundreds of thousands of bugs in summer. Moths swarming the outdoor lights. Thousands of species swept up by headlights and windshields. And if those obstacles to their abundant presence was not enough, over the last four decades pesticides/herbicides of all kinds being sprayed on all and everything have wiped out 70% of flying insects. Pest is an interesting word in the context of life.
