Goodbye Enchanted Forest

Personal memory by Philip Taylor

Growing up I had four older siblings. We all grew up in the same house but my siblings had a different experience than me. When they were growing up there was a vast forest next to our house where they were able to play in. This forest was everything to them. They had secret names for each part and they all had their own sections which counted as their own enchanted territories. Unfortunately for me I was unable to have this experience because the forest was cut down and cleared by an investor. They took the land and turned it into an alpaca farm which ended up polluting the surrounding area. This beautiful natural forrest disappeared and so did many species with it. Not only did five children loose there favorite place to play thousands of species lost there home and that just isn't okay.
