When I was 13 I moved to North Carolina from Arizona. All around me the sands and cacti of the desert were replaced with lush green and pine trees. But even as I came to this new place and witnessed so much beauty, Cary is one of the fastest growing cities in North Carolina. I've watched fields, streams, forests and natural spots my friends and I used to explore, all replaced with shopping malls and McDonalds.
