In Mexico, one of the animal species that existed long ago was the bear. Believe it or not, these furry animals once lived in these lands and it was through our colonization of the land that we pushed those animals towards extinction in that area. People today think it is impossible for bears to live here and don't even believe that it was once their natural habitat. This is yet one more example of how we're affecting the world around us and the other species that share it with us.
